All Bundled Up for Christmas Shopping

ootd_shoppingIt has been pretty cold here the past few days (whether it’s really that cold or it just seems like it in contrast to the weather in Maui, I’m not really sure) so I have been bundling up and wearing plenty of layers. I’ve managed to get most of my Christmas shopping done and my presents wrapped with the exception of a few online orders I’m still waiting on. I always try to get my shopping done early because I know when Stacie shows up she’ll make me go with her! I hate dealing with the crowds but she always manages to procrastinate until the last minute and I’m stuck helping her do her Christmas shopping.

ootd_shopping1I like to stick to a mostly neutral color palette when it cools down, and I usually wear lots of blacks and grays. I think it’s easier to add more and more layers as needed if everything matches! As a result, I have plenty of sweaters and scarves that are similar but just different enough to make owning all of them a must.

ootd_shopping7This peacoat style jacket is my favorite for running around in. It’s not as heavy as my winter coats but it’s lined with fleece so it’s still super warm. I also love this scarf that I picked up from the men’s section. It’s lightweight but big so it still feels warm and it has a large Eiffel Tower print on it. I love details like that, prints that aren’t super obvious but are fun when you notice them.
