BECCA Radiant Glow Collection

BECCA Radiant Glow CollectionBECCA is a brand that I have fallen in love with over the past year. I’ve received several samples of their products and have purchased a few of their highlighters and I’m always impressed with the quality. I’m now addicted to their Shimmering Skin Perfectors (I love the liquid ones but the Pressed versions are also nice) and I’m slowly starting to get into their other products. Unfortunately, the brand is a little pricey but I’ve been able to find travel sizes of some products and mini sets that allow me to try things without spending too much. My latest purchase is a new set exclusive to Ulta: the BECCA Radiant Glow Collection.

BECCA Radiant Glow CollectionThe BECCA Radiant Glow Collection includes three deluxe sample sizes and one full sized product, all for only $32 (a $70 value according to Ulta). I received a mini Under Eye Brightening Corrector, a mini Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, a mini Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal, and a full size Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/Opal. I already have a handful of samples and travel sizes of Opal but all of the other products were new to me.

BECCA Under Eye Brightening CorrectorI’d been thinking about buying the Under Eye Brightening Corrector and was just about to finally try it when this kit was released. The full size is $29 for 0.16 oz and this set contains a 0.1 oz sample. It seemed like a no-brainer for me, for only $3 more I could get a slightly smaller version and three other products to try. The Under Eye Brightening Corrector is a full-coverage creme corrector that helps with dark circles. It contains ultra-fine light-reflecting illuminators to brighten and correct skin tone without creasing. This can be worn alone or under concealer for extra coverage.

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector swatchThe Under Eye Brightening Corrector has a pink tint to it and the tiny sparkles give it a slight pearly look. This feels both thick and light at the same time. I usually don’t wear concealer under my eyes but I thought it might be nice to have this for days when I don’t get enough sleep. I found it applied best if I used primer or moisturizer first. I then used a flat concealer brush to apply it and blended it out with my fingers. This definitely lightened the area under my eyes and I found it looked better if I applied it under my foundation, otherwise I had a reverse-panda-look going on. This did help brighten under my eyes and made it look like I got a full night’s sleep. I liked how this felt on and it didn’t crease or dry out throughout the day. A little goes a long way with this so even this deluxe size will last awhile for me.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in MoonstoneThe Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone was another product I was really excited about getting in this set. I have quite a few of BECCA’s liquid Shimmering Skin Perfectors and I just recently got a sample of the Pressed formula in Opal (you can read my review here). Their full size highlighters last forever so I’m not disappointed by this smaller size (0.085 oz vs. 0.28 oz).

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in MoonstoneMoonstone is a pale gold shade that’s perfect for fair skin. I already own the liquid version of Moonstone (see my post about it here) and I love it. I typically mix the liquid Moonstone in with foundation to get a beautiful, all-over dewy look and I’m excited to use this powder version as a more obvious highlight in select areas on my face.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone swatchThe Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone is a pretty, shimmery, light gold shade with just a touch of warmth. It adds just a subtle highlight to lighter skin tones but I wouldn’t recommend it for darker skin. This nearly blends in with my skin so it adds just a little shimmer without really adding color.

Moonstone Pressed vs Liquid

I was a little surprised by how different the powder and liquid versions of Moonstone are. The liquid formula is darker with a more obvious gold tone. With most of the Shimmering Skin Perfector shades I think the powder formula creates a more obvious highlight than the liquid version but on my skin I think the liquid formula stands out more. Moonstone Pressed has more shimmer while the liquid version is good for applying sheen. I’ve found that the liquids last longer on me than the powders do.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone vs Opal

Moonstone vs Opal

Compared to Moonstone, Opal looks quite a bit darker in the pan. Since Moonstone basically blends in with my skin tone, it’s hard to believe the darker Opal would work as a highlighter but it does. Just a small amount adds a little color and a lot of shimmer. Even though it’s actually darker than my skin tone, it reflects enough light that it still works as a highlighter.

Moonstone vs Opal

Opal is darker and a little warmer. I like it because it adds a deeper golden color that almost looks a little rose gold next to Moonstone. It really warms up my face and creates a lovely glow. These really complement other dewy and shimmery products but also go well with an otherwise matte face. I use these Pressed formulas when I want a lot of shimmer (but not glitter) and a more obvious highlight. I really like them on my cheekbones but they are definitely not for all over.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in OpalFor more of a dewy, inner glow look I prefer BECCA’s original Shimmering Skin Perfectors, which are a liquid formula. I have a few different colors but my favorite is Opal. It’s also BECCA’s most popular shade so anytime they run a promo for deluxe samples, Opal is included. As a result, I have so many samples of this shade! Most of their samples come in a squeeze tube but this one is nice because it includes a wand (it’s actually the same packaging as last year’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights). I only need a tiny bit of this each time so it lasts forever! This deluxe sample is 0.17 oz and you can also find a 0.68 oz travel size of this or purchase the full size 1.7 oz bottle but it would probably take about a decade to finish that!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal swatchOpal is such a pretty, golden opal color. The liquid formula looks like it would be very dramatic but it’s actually really easy to get a natural looking glow with this. I like to dab Opal onto my forehead, cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and chin for a perfect dewy look. It can also be mixed into foundation for a more subtle all-over glow but that might be a little difficult with the wand.

BECCA Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/OpalThe BECCA Radiant Glow Collection also included a full size Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/Opal. This normally sells for $24 so it makes this set a great value. Raspberry/Opal is a marbled gloss that adds a hint of color and shine to the lips. The Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle has a lightweight texture and is infused with brown algae extract to soften and smooth lips.

BECCA Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/OpalThis is one of those annoying lip glosses with a click mechanism but it’s not as bad as usual. Instead of a brush, this has a clear plastic tip so you can see when the product is reaching the top and stop clicking before you end up with a month’s worth of gloss all over the place! It also didn’t require too many clicks at the beginning to get it started.

BECCA Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/Opal swatchRaspberry/Opal is a really pretty marbled gloss. Raspberry is a great berry shade and Opal adds a little warmth, shimmer, and depth. The gloss comes out marbled so it needs to be blended on the lips. It was pretty easy to get a consistent color.

BECCA Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/Opal swatchThis Shimmer Souffle is a lot lighter on than it looks in the tube. It’s pretty sheer so it will look lighter or darker based on your lip color. On me, it’s a pretty purple berry shade that can be applied heavily for more color. It looks a little darker in person but the sheer formula made it hard to get an accurate picture. This gloss is slightly tacky and feels very light on the lips. It’s not my favorite lip gloss but it’s still pretty nice. I probably wouldn’t buy this again as I prefer moisturizing glosses but I will use it.

BECCA Radiant Glow CollectionI am really happy with the BECCA Radiant Glow Collection. I like the Under Eye Brightening Corrector and it really helps me look more awake on days when I haven’t gotten much sleep. The Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone is a really pretty shade. It’s a subtle color on me and will be perfect for days when I only want a light highlight. The Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal is still one of my favorite products so I’m happy to have another and I like the wand packaging. The Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in Raspberry/Opal is a nice light gloss in a great color for fall. All of these products will last me for a long time and I will get a lot of use out of them. The BECCA Radiant Glow Collection is $32 and only available at Ulta.

What a great set of samples! I just bought the Becca concealer & it’s the best for covering my dark spots. I bought the rose gold pressed powder Perfector several months ago but I can’t remember where I put it 😩but I think moonstone or opal would’ve been a better color for my skintone

What a great collection! I have the pressed Opal and I want to get Moonstone next! It’d work better for my skin tone for sure. I typically prefer liquid highlights so I definitely want to try the original formula of opal. I also really want to give the under eye brightening cream a try – glad to hear it worked so well!
