My closet mostly consists of solids in neutrals colors because I find those pieces to be the most versatile but I also really love a good print. Printed pieces can really liven up an outfit or make a big statement. While a lot of the printed clothes I own are pretty colorful (like the prints here and here), I love understated neutral prints like this bow print top. The black and white print and nice fabric make it perfect for work and the bows add just a touch of whimsy to an outfit.
A lot of times I’ll wear this top with grays and blacks in heavier fabrics but this time I decided to go all out and embrace the girliness of the bow print. I love this bright pink pleated skirt and I couldn’t resist adding one of my bow belts to this outfit. (Yes, I have multiple bow belts, can you blame me?) I added a bright white cardigan instead of black to make it more spring-like and brighten it up a bit.
I love these three colors together. The black and white add a great neutral base and the bright pink just makes everything pop! This was such a fun outfit to wear. I’m already planning more looks with these colors, I just think they are perfect for the warmer weather.
Pale pink lipstick (this shade from Urban Decay is my favorite mod pink) and braids and curls helped finish the look. I had a lot of fun with this outfit, and just looking at the photos makes me want to buy more bow prints!
