VIICode Oxygen Eye Mask

VIICode Oxygen Eye Mask

I am big into skincare. I love creamy cleansers and super hydrating moisturizers but my absolute favorite skincare products are masks. They target specific skincare concerns and they work so quickly and can make a big difference in how my skin looks. That’s why I was so excited to try the VIICode Oxygen Eye Mask for dark circles. I don’t have very dark circles but if I have to get up early or don’t get enough sleep, my eyes can definitely look dark and puffy. The VIICode Oxygen Eye Mask is designed to target dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and bags to give your skin a more youthful look.

March Beauty Favorites / Making Things Work

March Beauty FavoritesEvery now and then I end up with a bunch of beauty products that just don’t quite work for me. Whether they are samples I’ve received or items I’ve purchased that aren’t my favorite, it’s hard for me to throw them out. I prefer to find ways to make them wearable, even if it involves a little extra effort on my part. I like to turn it into a challenge- how quickly can I use up a bunch of products that I don’t really like? Lately I’ve been on one of those kicks and I’ve been trying to destash a bit and get rid of some things. My March Beauty Favorites were all super helpful in turning some not-so-great products into things that I actually like to wear. This month, I’ve been using a lot of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Smokeout, the Benefit They’re Real Remover, and The Face Shop’s Lovely Me:Ex Make Up Base in Violet.

Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Collection

Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Collection

Want amazing hair like Kendall Jenner?

My hair always needs a little extra help in March. Winter can definitely wreak havoc on my hair and by March it just can’t take it anymore. My hair starts to feel super dry and brittle and it tends to be full of static. This is usually the time of year that I break out all of my deep conditioners and cut off a few inches of my hair to make it feel healthy again. I recently got to try the Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Collection and the opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time. This is the collection that Kendall Jenner swears by to keep her locks looking thick and healthy (she apparently learned about it from Kim). Would it work just as well on my dry, damaged winter hair?

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder and Puff

Do you TLSP?

The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, or TLSP, is a great multi-purpose powder. Not only does it help set makeup, but it also keeps skin from looking oily as the day wears on. This award-winning powder now comes in two shades: Translucent (the shade I tried) and Translucent Medium Deep for darker skin tones. I usually don’t use setting powder but after trying this I can see why I should- it definitely made a big difference in how my makeup looked and how it wore throughout the day.

HASK Greek Yogurt Hydrating Collection

HASK Greek Yogurt Hydrating Collection with Fig and Honey

Greek Yogurt For Your Hair?

I’m a fan of Greek yogurt and I love how healthy it is for you. It’s rich in nutrients and protein and it makes a great snack on its own or mixed into smoothies. When I saw the new HASK Greek Yogurt with Fig & Honey Hydrating Collection, I was definitely intrigued. In addition to being tasty, honey is great for your skin and perfect for using in homemade face masks but Greek yogurt and honey for your hair? I wasn’t so sure about that. Still, I’ve had a lot of success with HASK shampoos and conditioners in the past (see my previous reviews here) so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it out.

February Beauty Favorites / All About Hydration

February Beauty Favorites

My February beauty favorites always seem to revolve around hydration. Whether it’s needing hydration for my hair or for my face, it’s always a month where I need a little extra help. I guess February is when my body revolts against winter, it just can’t take it anymore! This last month was no exception. Luckily, I had a couple of tried and true products that I went back to and I picked up a fun new scent. My February beauty favorites ended up being the NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm, the Bath & Body Works Tutti Dolci Pink Peony Body Cream, and the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dollface.
