February Beauty Favorites / All About Hydration

February Beauty Favorites

My February beauty favorites always seem to revolve around hydration. Whether it’s needing hydration for my hair or for my face, it’s always a month where I need a little extra help. I guess February is when my body revolts against winter, it just can’t take it anymore! This last month was no exception. Luckily, I had a couple of tried and true products that I went back to and I picked up a fun new scent. My February beauty favorites ended up being the NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm, the Bath & Body Works Tutti Dolci Pink Peony Body Cream, and the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dollface.

Evian Facial Spray + A Giveaway!

Evian Facial SprayWhen I think of Evian Facial Spray, I imagine models on a tropical beach lightly misting their faces while a breeze gently blows their hair around. It seems so fancy- natural spring water is bottled at the source in the French Alps. It’s tested 300 times a day to ensure it’s purity and that it has a neutral pH of 7.2 to properly hydrate and refresh skin. It uses a unique fine micro-droplet mist to dispense the spray. The Evian Facial Spray is hypoallergenic and is perfect for adding hydration or refreshing makeup throughout the day.

Fall RAN Bonus Box

Fall RAN Bonus BoxEarlier this year, I was selected to receive a RAN Bonus Box from Rakuten Affiliate Network. It was full of great products and I loved being able to work with and discover new brands. When I was chosen to be part of the fall RAN Bonus Box, I was so excited. The box arrived jam-packed with so many wonderful goodies, many from brands I already know and love as well as a few new ones to try. I love the idea behind these boxes, they’re such a great way for brands and bloggers to connect.

ARK Skincare

ark-skincareI recently got the chance to try a couple of products from ARK Skincare: their Age Defend Replenishing Moisturizer and their Skin Perfector Triple Action Exfoliator. ARK Skincare is a British brand that uses natural ingredients and aims to give you professional, salon-quality results at home. Their skincare “system” is pretty easy to figure out- they have different lines based on age and what your skin needs during that time period. For example, the Age Protect line for teens and people in their twenties focuses on protecting against daily pollutants while the Age Defy line for 50 and up uses collagen-boosting and skin-brightening ingredients. It seems like a pretty simple way to choose your skincare products.

RAN Travel Box

RAN Travel BoxA couple of months ago, I was selected to receive a RAN Bonus Box from Rakuten Affiliate Network, the company we use for our affiliate links. The box was so fun to get and I received so many amazing products and discovered a lot of great new brands. When they announced their travel-themed RAN Bonus Box, I couldn’t wait to get it. Stacie and I travel a lot and we both have some pretty big trips planned for this year. I was so excited to see what Rakuten and their partners had in store for us and I was looking forward to developing relationships with more brands. I was not disappointed when I opened my RAN Travel Box. It was packed with goodies from some amazing brands and everything was perfect for the travel theme.

When Sheet Masks

When Sheet MasksI have a bit of an obsession with face masks. I love all different kinds and I really love trying new ones. A few that I always have in rotation are some kind of mud/charcoal mask to remove impurities, a hydrating mask to keep my skin moisturized, and a bevy of sheet masks to keep my skin looking great. I love how low-risk sheet masks are- they’re pretty inexpensive and since they’re a one-time use, if I hate it I never have to use it again! And they’re just fun to use! I recently got the chance to try a couple of When sheet masks: The Last Choice and Travelmate. When is a Korean brand that is starting to pop up all over the US (their masks are sold at Sephora, Ulta, Birchbox, and Anthropologie). When sheet masks come in five different varieties to suit all different skin needs. The masks are made from coconuts and are designed to be suitable for everyone, even those with sensitive skin.
