Is anyone else super obsessed with dark green right now? I feel like I’m seeing it everywhere and I just can’t get enough of it! Green has always been one of my favorite colors but I don’t wear very much of it, although I do love a good mint color in spring. Darker greens are perfect for fall though, and I’ve been loving all the pieces I’ve seen, including this dark green mini dress. I love how this green works almost as a neutral color- it’s great for pairing with so many different colors and accessories.
I think this dark green mini dress is just so cute, and it has so many little details that I love. The faux wrap neckline is really fun and the drawstring waist is very forgiving after a big meal. The long sleeves can be worn rolled up and did I mention it even has pockets?! I don’t know why, I always get so excited when a dress has pockets even though I never put anything in them!
I’ve been styling this dress a few different ways. I love how it looks on its own with some fun accessories and simple heels. I think dark green looks so good with leopard so I couldn’t resist adding a leopard print belt here.
I’ve also been really happy it’s gotten a little cooler so I can wear this dark green mini dress with my over-the-knee black suede boots. I got these on super sale at the very end of winter last year so I haven’t gotten the chance to wear them very much. I love how they look with shorter dresses and am planning on wearing a variation of this outfit pretty much nonstop until it gets too cold.
And even then, I think I’ll plan on wearing this look with some warm tights and a long, open cardigan. I love how black looks with this dark green color but I also think bronze, deep blue, or blush pink would be really pretty as well. It’s just such a versatile shade, I don’t think I’ll have any problems finding new ways to wear this dress!
