Want amazing hair like Kendall Jenner?
My hair always needs a little extra help in March. Winter can definitely wreak havoc on my hair and by March it just can’t take it anymore. My hair starts to feel super dry and brittle and it tends to be full of static. This is usually the time of year that I break out all of my deep conditioners and cut off a few inches of my hair to make it feel healthy again. I recently got to try the Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Collection and the opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time. This is the collection that Kendall Jenner swears by to keep her locks looking thick and healthy (she apparently learned about it from Kim). Would it work just as well on my dry, damaged winter hair?
The Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Collection is specially formulated to help dry, damaged, and frizzy hair. It’s full of active proteins to restore and strengthen hair so that it looks shiny, healthy, and full of life. Silk and soy proteins are able to work their way deep into the hair shaft to moisturize it and make it easier to manage- no tangles here! The Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo felt super slippery on my hair. It was on the thinner side and was easy to spread throughout my hair so I didn’t have to use very much product. This shampoo cleaned my hair well without drying it out. It definitely felt a lot different than the shampoos I usually use.
The Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Conditioner was really nice as well. I love thick conditioners because they moisturize my hair so well but I need one that lets me go a few days without washing it. This conditioner was great because my hair felt moisturized but didn’t get greasy as the days wore on. I could tell right away that this conditioner was working and it really was easier to brush out my hair after washing it.
Both the Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner had really strong scents. Finesse is known for their classic fresh scent but to me it was too strong and the smell lingered on my hair for a while. It wasn’t bad enough to stop me from using this collection but I wasn’t a huge fan. Still, I really liked how the Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner made my hair feel. I could definitely tell that it felt a lot less dry and I didn’t have any static or flyaways. My hair didn’t tangle easily and it felt healthier and thicker. Definitely check it out if you have dry, damaged, or unmanageable hair!
