Jeni’s Ice Cream

In light of me now living in Nashville and it being Thursday, I thought I would do a Throwback Thursday post to when Molly and I went to Jeni’s Ice Cream on our sister trip to Nashville earlier this year! Jeni’s had been on my list for awhile but I always ran out of time on my previous trips. We almost didn’t have time on this trip either but decided to make a quick stop at the 12 South location on the way to the airport. I was definitely glad we stopped- Jeni’s lived up to all the hype!

The line was out the door when we arrived but it actually moved pretty fast and there was plenty of seating inside. While we waited we took goofy pictures and scoped out all the favors. They have this really cute chalkboard menu listing all the flavors and toppings.

Definitely unique flavors! I decided on a waffle cone with a scoop of the seven-layer bar ice cream and the goat cheese with red cherries ice cream while Molly went with a bowl of the wildberry lavender and milk chocolate ice cream.

I had heard good things about the goat cheese with red cherries ice cream so I figured I had to try it. It was actually really good. I know goat cheese might seem like a weird addition to ice cream but it almost made it creamier. Of course I had to try Molly’s flavors too and they did not disappoint. Jeni’s was definitely a hit with both Molly and me! Now I live only like 5 minutes away from Jeni’s so I can definitely see myself becoming a regular.
