So… it’s not exactly coat weather in Phoenix right now. But, I have been searching for a pink coat for a long time with no success so I’m totally justified in getting this pink wrap coat now, right? Plus, I’ve got a vacation coming up, what if I visit someplace cold? I totally need this right now. In all honesty, I probably don’t but can you blame me for getting it? I love the shape and it’s the perfect spring coat- if you actually need one. And if you’re on the fence- just wait until you see the price!
As you can imagine, living in Phoenix I don’t own many coats (I have a grand total of two to be exact, and I really only wear one of them). But I love how they look and I do get cold easily so I don’t think it hurts to have another one. This pink one is fairly lightweight so it’s nice for spring or fall and for only $25, it’s a pretty good deal.
This pink wrap coat is pretty fun to wear. I love how polished it looks when wrapped and tied in the front. It has big, generous pockets and a drop shoulder detail. I like how the draped collar can be adjusted a bit, so on warmer days you can wear it more open and on colder days you can close it up. And how great is the longer length? I love having a coat that’s close to knee length.
I initially wanted this coat because of how put together it looked when it was tied but now that I have it, I think I actually prefer wearing it open. It turns into a waterfall coat with a more relaxed look that allows me to show off more of my outfit.
The light pink color is a perfect blush-nude that is easy to throw on over just about anything. I loved it with this soft olive top but it would also be really pretty with heather gray. I’ve been loving burgundy and blush together lately and I think this coat would look super spring-y with white jeans as well. It’s definitely a versatile color that works more as a neutral and less as a statement pink.
The fabric of this coat is almost like a super soft felt. It’s really comfortable to wear and has a great hand to it. It is an oversized coat so size down if you want a more fitted look. I’m wearing an XS for reference.
I love how this pink wrap coat looks with my olive top. I added skinny jeans to help balance out the size of the coat and nude ballet flats for a lighter look. I’m no stranger to a good statement necklace and lately I’ve been loving long tassel necklaces, like this gold and pastel one. I think it really helps complete the outfit.
