We’ve been going through a warm spell lately which I absolutely love. It has been in the mid-80s and so nice, I’ve been able to ditch my tights and boots and break out my tees and ballet flats. I have a feeling it won’t last forever though and I’m sure we’ll have another cold spell soon. Luckily, I have my favorite cozy sweater on hand so I’ll be prepared. I got this sweater several years ago and I love it. It’s got ribbed sides that give it a little extra texture and it’s lined with fleece. Seriously, it’s so cozy and warm on the inside but still looks chic and slim on the outside. I love the cowl neckline that can also be worn off-the-shoulder (although if I did that, my shoulders would be freezing!).
We took these photos a few weeks ago but I hadn’t gotten around to posting them until now. Hopefully this will be some inspiration to those living in places that are actually going through winter right now!
How pretty is this bright pink lipstick? I usually stick to glossy balm lipsticks or satin finishes but I really love bright mattes. I think the matte finish makes this color really stand out and the Stila formula is pretty comfortable compared to other liquid matte lipsticks that I’ve tried.
In addition to my favorite cozy sweater, I think layers are a must during winter. Layers are perfect for our weather because sometimes it can be freezing in the morning and evening but so hot during the middle of the day. I love a good winter coat that I can throw on over anything and scarves are so easy to bundle up in if it’s chilly or remove as it warms up.
