There are certain color combinations that always work: black and white, brown and gold, red and navy. Lately I’ve been drawn to pink and mint. Mint has become a staple in my closet over the past couple of years. It’s a bright color that is surprisingly versatile. I love how soft it looks when paired with gray and how it really pops next to black. Now that July is here it feels too warm for those dark colors so I’ve started pairing my mint pieces with light pink.
I love how sweet the colors look together. This cardigan is the perfect light pink. It’s not too much of a bubblegum shade and it’s not too dark either. I’ve had this skirt for awhile and I like it so much that I have it in two other colors. It’s light and comfortable, plus it’s long enough for work!
I couldn’t resist this watch when I saw it a few years ago. How much fun is a bright pink watch? I love wearing it in the summer with colorful outfits like this one but I also love it with all black. The leather wrap bracelet is an old one from Gorjana. I wear it so much that I wish I owned more colors! The pink bracelet was a gift from Stacie. She got it while she was in Venice last year. It’s hard to see the details but it’s actually glass beads wrapped in mesh and then twisted. The gold bangle was also a gift from Stacie. She and my mom both have matching ones. I love when jewelry has a story behind it, don’t you?
