To finish up my trip in San Francisco I had to have some seafood! We Yelp-ed restaurants by our hotel and found The New England Lobster Market & Eatery. It had great reviews and was close to our hotel so we decided to check it out.
The restaurant was packed when we got there – the line was out the door! The restaurant was really cute. There was picnic table style seating out front as well as additional seating indoors. When you enter the restaurant, the market portion is on the left side – where you can buy live lobster of varying sizes to take home and prepare yourself. The kitchen and order area was all the way to the back. They have a cute chalk board menu with all the options. The menu consists of lobster plates, crab plates, lobster rolls, crab sandwiches, and some appetizers.
I had never had a lobster roll before so I figured this would be a great place to try it! I went with their Seasonal Lobster Roll which has avocado and bacon on it. It also came with chips and a side of cole slaw. Surprisingly, it didn’t come with butter so I had to request some (how can you eat lobster without butter?!). I actually really enjoyed my lobster roll. Now I understand what all the hype about lobster rolls is about!
JC ordered the lobster plate which also looked amazing. Whole lobsters seem like so much work to eat though!
We also ordered the crab nachos for the group. I really liked these! The sauce on top was a little tangy and creamy and made the nachos taste amazing. I would say they were better than the lobster roll!
Our meal at the New England Lobster Market & Eatery was fabulous. It was a great Yelp find and definitely somewhere to check out in San Francisco!

WOW I want that in my mouth! I must stop here! Thanks for the tip!
I live near SF (and do everything I can to avoid going into the city!) but this looks like a good reason to venture in. And your photos are pretty delicious too!

Though I’m not much of a seafood person myself, I will say your photos look incredible :) Sounds like a great place (and I love when I come across a good Yelp find!).
