I have an affinity for leather, especially during fall and winter. I love how instantly cool it makes you look and there are so many different ways to wear it. At this point I’ve acquired quite a few leather (or at least faux leather) pieces and I’ve gotten to the point where I have all of the basics covered (jacket x 2, pencil skirt, full skirt, leggings). Now I’m after more interesting items. This perforated leather skirt has a lot of fun details like cutouts and a scalloped hem but it’s also really comfortable to wear.
It’s rare to come across a leather skirt that feels light instead of stiff but doesn’t look super cheap. This skirt is heavy enough that it doesn’t automatically scream “fake leather” but the swingy shape and perforations make it easy to wear.
The weather was pretty nice last week when we went out so I wore this skirt with a nice tee, boyfriend cardigan, and flats along with fun accessories like a leopard-print belt and a necklace made from watch parts. I think it will also look great with tights, a cozy fisherman sweater, and boots when it gets colder.
