I’ve been pretty busy lately with work and it seems like I hardly have any time to rest. My days off have been spent cleaning, making lunches and dinners for the rest of the week, and shopping for a new car (not that exciting). Here are a few things that are currently making me happy, like these bright pink polishes. Every time the weather starts heating up, I start craving bright pinks. Right now I’ve got Zoya’s Ali on my toes and Julep’s Caitlin on my fingers. I love seeing a pop of neon pink against all of my outfits.
A tasty BLT (minus the T) from Wildflower Bakery was the perfect lunch. I’m also slowly trying all the different flavors of La Croix. This grapefruit flavor was pretty good but I think my current favorite is passionfruit.
I’ve been searching for some non-denim shorts for the summer and I found these two pairs at Forever21 (here and here). In addition to being adorable, super light, and comfy, they were also inexpensive. I grabbed both pairs for about $20 during their Memorial Day Sale, and did I mention they even have pockets?
I’ve been trying some lighter scents of shower gel from Bath and Body Works. As much as I love my sweet, vanilla flavors, spring and summer call for fresher, fruity scents like Sweet Magnolia & Clementine and Sheer Cotton & Lemonade.
I am so excited to try this Harry Potter candy that Stacie brought me! I mean, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans and a Chocolate Frog?! The bean flavors don’t sound all that appealing but that’s half the fun, right? And who knows, maybe I will end up loving the bacon and rotten egg flavors. I’m also not-so-secretly hoping the frog actually hops away when I open it.
How was your week?
