Spring Looks with Dresslink

Dresslink White Tulle Skirt 2I love when spring rolls around and I can ditch the tights I’ve been wearing all winter! I love warm weather (good for me since I live in Phoenix) and I spend all winter counting down the days until I can wear a skirt with bare legs. Luckily, it gets warm pretty quick here so I don’t have to suffer for too long. I recently picked out a couple of new spring skirts from Dresslink and I was so happy when they arrived and I was able to wear them with bare legs immediately! I’m not quite ready for mini skirts yet (those seem like more of a summer thing) so I went with two midi skirts in different materials: a white tulle skirt and a red scuba skirt.

Dresslink White Tulle Skirt 5I love a good tulle skirt and I thought a full white one would be perfect for spring. This one has five layers of soft tulle and it’s easy to wear it as is or fluff the layers to make the skirt look fuller. It’s so pretty but it definitely needs a slip underneath as it’s pretty sheer. The waistband isn’t very nice either- it’s pretty loose around the elastic and it’s not stitched down anywhere so the skirt tends to spin on the elastic. Still, for the price it’s pretty good, just be prepared to wear a top that covers the waistband.

Dresslink White Tulle Skirt 1I have been loving white with pink and gold lately so of course I had to pair this skirt with a pink sweater, sparkly gold flats, and lots of gold jewelry! These colors just seem so bright and springy to me.

Dresslink Red SkirtI used to wear a lot of red and then I slowly phased it out of my wardrobe as I started wearing more and more pink. Lately though I’ve been loving pops of red here and there. This skirt is made with a thick scuba knit and it’s nice and full. I love the bright red shade, it’s just perfect for warmer weather!

Dresslink Red Skirt 2I had to pair this skirt with matching bright red lipstick. I don’t wear red lipstick very often but when I do I like brighter shades that really pop! I also love red with leopard print so I added some fun black and leopard ballet flats to complement my black top.
