Occasionally Molly and I are lucky enough to be in the same state so we try to make the most of it. One such weekend, Molly made amazing breakfast smoothies. They were actually so simple to make. She broke out the immersion blender, some frozen mixed berries, a banana, a splash of milk, yogurt, and honey. She combined all the ingredients into a cup and within seconds we were enjoying our smoothies. The trick to making this with the immersion blender is to put the banana on top of the frozen berries; otherwise it can get kinda messy. We also blended in a little honey at the very end. Molly has gotten a little more adventurous in her smoothies than me and likes to add some spinach. What are your favorite smoothie recipes?
