Statement Necklace and Light LayersI love fun basics that you can throw together to create a super cute outfit in almost no time. This black and white striped tunic has been one of my favorites the last few months and I’ve been wearing plenty of light layers with it as the weather has gotten warmer. This gray sweater is perfect over tunics and I’ve been living in these crazy-soft skinny jeans. Add some suede boots and a sparkly statement necklace and I’m good to go!

Sure, we all have certain pieces that we gravitate towards and trends that we like to follow, but don’t you sometimes just find yourself reaching for the same thing over and over again, even though your closet is full of other clothes? New Year’s Eve Sparkle

OOTD New Year's Eve Black and SilverSince New Year’s Eve is tomorrow, I wanted to share some outfit inspiration for any parties you may be attending. New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite holidays to dress for because it requires so many sequins, crystals, and glitter- you can never have too much! It is a bit tricky to dress for though since cooler weather calls for lots of layers. I usually like to pick one statement piece and then wear dark, neutral layering pieces with it. This outfit is the perfect example. I get plenty of New Year’s Eve sparkle with my sequined top and then keep it simple with black jeans and a black jacket. The layers help me stay warm and the dark colors also make the silver sequins really pop!
