I’ll admit, I have a lot of clothes. Clothing is one of my favorite things to buy and my closet and dresser are both overflowing. For the most part though, I get a lot of use out of everything and tend to wear pieces for years and years until they are threadbare or totally out of style. There are definitely some basics that I reach for over and over again but most of my favorites are unique pieces that have a story behind them. I love buying clothing or jewelry as a souvenir when traveling or to wear for a special occasion and it’s so fun thinking of that trip or event when I wear it. Take this brown polka dot dress for example. I bought this when I went to New York City for the first time about 10 years ago and I still think of that trip every time I put it on.
Spring fashion is so much fun to me. Not only does it mean that I can ditch the winter layers and fleece tights, but it also seems like my wardrobe feels so much fresher. I love to wear lighter colors and bright spring pastels. Lately I’ve been loving lots of cream, light pink, and gold together as you can tell by this look. I recently got the chance to partner with JORD Wood Watches and I was so excited to find a watch that fit in with my new spring aesthetic.
One of the things I love about being a blogger is discovering and connecting with different brands. Even in this day and age when internet shopping is so prevalent and there are forums dedicated to the latest and greatest beauty and fashion products, it can still be hard to learn about new companies. I’m part of Rakuten Affiliate Network and they’ve recently started a program where they send out a RAN Bonus Box each quarter to introduce their bloggers to new brands and begin partnerships. It’s a really fun program and I was fortunate enough to receive their Q1 RAN Bonus Box which featured products from six different brands, most of which were new to me.
