Every year around the holidays, Sephora releases a lip set full of minis and full-sized products. It’s part of their Sephora Favorites collection which also includes skincare, eyeliner, perfume, and hair sets. They are all a great way to try new products and discover new brands for a great package price. I’ve bought a couple of the mixed makeup and smaller sets before and I’ve always thought about getting the big lip kit. This year I finally took the plunge and purchased Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip, which includes 15 products.
I’m a big fan of Lancome’s all-in-one palettes, and the Lancome Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Pink Envy is no exception. I previously posted a review of Lancome’s blush palette, and this is the same concept, but for eyes. The idea is that you can grab one of these palettes and easily create both a day and night look.
I don’t know why, but I always thought of Lancome as being an older brand. Maybe it’s because they don’t use young, trendy packaging, or because their products aren’t very in-your-face. But now I’m drawn to the products for that very reason- they don’t follow every new trend that’s out there, instead, they take a more sophisticated approach. In lieu of flashy marketing and gimmicks, Lancome makes good quality products that look beautiful on. I recently got the Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in 323 Rose Flush. This is an all-in-one contouring palette that contains a bronzer, blush, and highlighter.
