Statement Necklace and Light Layers

Statement Necklace and Light LayersI love fun basics that you can throw together to create a super cute outfit in almost no time. This black and white striped tunic has been one of my favorites the last few months and I’ve been wearing plenty of light layers with it as the weather has gotten warmer. This gray sweater is perfect over tunics and I’ve been living in these crazy-soft skinny jeans. Add some suede boots and a sparkly statement necklace and I’m good to go!

Comfy Layers / Lace Hem Tunic

Comfy Layers / Lace Hem Tunic OOTDI love to wear lots of comfy layers on my days off. I will usually run a few errands and I like to look cute when I’m out in public but then a good portion of my day is spent on the couch blogging and watching Netflix. While I don’t mind changing several times throughout the day (and I do that fairly frequently), I prefer outfits that are versatile enough that I don’t have to. Leggings and tunics are staples for me and I love cozy sweaters that I can wrap up in if I get cold. This lace hem tunic is one of my new favorites and it’s currently on clearance for less than $6!

Holiday Outfit Details

Holiday Outfit DetailsThere are certain details I always like for my holiday looks. I like lots of sparkle (obviously) and a bright lip is always fun for going out. I love lace and I really like it paired with leather to toughen it up a bit. Layers are super important for me because I’m always cold and a great pair of boots or booties can instantly make a holiday outfit look finished. This holiday outfit is one of my favorites because it combines all of those details into one look without being too overdone.

Monochromatic

Monochromatic outfit of the dayMy cold weather wardrobe is made up of mostly monochromatic black and gray pieces, to the point that multiple people have commented on it. I love warm weather so the colder months always feel like a bit of a mourning period for me but really I’m just lazy. If I have a stack of black and gray pieces, it’s easy to grab a few and throw them on in the morning- they always match! Take this outfit for example. I wanted to wear these leather leggings and this sweater is one of my go-tos as soon as it gets a little chilly. I added a tunic for some extra layers and some bright white sneakers for a fun, sporty feel. It probably took about 15 seconds to pick everything out and I thought it looked really cute.

Fall RAN Bonus Box

Fall RAN Bonus BoxEarlier this year, I was selected to receive a RAN Bonus Box from Rakuten Affiliate Network. It was full of great products and I loved being able to work with and discover new brands. When I was chosen to be part of the fall RAN Bonus Box, I was so excited. The box arrived jam-packed with so many wonderful goodies, many from brands I already know and love as well as a few new ones to try. I love the idea behind these boxes, they’re such a great way for brands and bloggers to connect.

Fall Layers Two Ways

OOTD Fall LayersIt’s pretty hard to do fall fashion in Phoenix. All the stores are carrying sweaters and tall boots and with Halloween and Thanksgiving it’s pretty easy to get into the fall spirit but the weather here just doesn’t cooperate. Sure, it’s a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings but when midday temperatures reach the mid 70s it’s nearly impossible to work tights and scarves into my wardrobe. Instead, I focus on light fall layers that work with the temperature changes and still look appropriate for the season.
