Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Gonzo

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in GonzoUrban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils are my favorite eyeliners. Usually I despise pencil liners because I hate having to constantly sharpen them but these eyeliners are so wonderful that I’m willing to overlook that annoyance. They really do glide right on without tugging or pulling and they do last all day (although I’ll admit I’ve never tried wearing them for a full 24 hours before). I recently received the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Gonzo as part of a Sephora Inside JC Penney promo.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in GonzoGonzo is a limited edition color that was available as part of Urban Decay’s Ten 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set. It’s described as an electric blue matte with tonal shimmer. Urban Decay’s Electric Palette contains the same color in powder form.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in GonzoI love bright eyeliners and the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Gonzo definitely fits the bill. The formula is nice and creamy but it sets quickly so it doesn’t smudge or run all over the place. This is a fun eyeliner for summer and I can’t wait to wear it with a bright pink lip and black mascara. I also like wearing dark purple liners on my top lid with bright blues like this on my bottom waterline for a pop of color.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Gonzo SwatchGonzo glides right on and is pretty opaque right away although I usually make a couple of passes to really build up the color. I love how bold the matte finish looks and the tonal shimmer adds just a touch of shine. I own a lot of bright blue eyeliners but the matte finish and great formula of Gonzo make it my favorite. I’m so sad that Gonzo is a limited edition color because I have a feeling I’m going to go through this really fast. The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Gonzo is currently unavailable on its own but Electric is pretty close (it’s just slightly brighter and more shimmery) or you can get your Gonzo crave with their Electric Pressed Pigment Palette.
