Go for Baroque

ootd_baroque_dress2You know how there are some clothing pieces you love so much you buy them in every color you can get your hands on? That’s how I am with this baroque print tunic I got from SheIn. It’s actually a dress but on me it’s borderline between a super mini dress and a long tunic. The jacquard fabric isn’t the best quality and the dress is unlined but the fun print and fit-and-flare shape makes it the perfect throw-on-and-go dress. There are so many versions of this dress with different prints out there and at around $20 or so, the price can’t be beat! I already have a couple of different versions of this and I’m trying to decide which print to buy next!

baroque printI love the baroque print on this dress and I decided to pair it with dark colors to really make the print stand out. Typically I wear sleeveless dresses with warm cardigans and tights during the winter but I love how this one looks with a black sweater and dark jeans layered underneath.

baroque printI thought this looked really sleek with slim-fitting pieces and booties. I tried to keep everything dark except for a swipe of bright lipstick and a fun coral necklace to complement the print. I also added lots of gold jewelry to really play up the glamour and gilded feel of the baroque print. I really like how this outfit turned out and it made me want to buy about a dozen more of these dresses!

ootd_baroque_dress7I’ve written before about my SheIn experience and once again I was really happy with them. There are a lot of websites that are very similar but so far SheIn is my favorite. The clothes are very inexpensive and although they aren’t the best (think Forever 21 quality), I’ve always been really happy with what I’ve received. Shipping can take a few weeks if the clothes are sent directly from China but they also have a warehouse in the US. Pay attention to the sizing when you order as it can be quite different from US sizing. This baroque print dress only comes in one-size but some of the other prints have more of a selection. I’m usually a US 2-4 and this dress fit like it was about a size or so too big but it wasn’t bad. In fact, the looser fit makes it more comfortable to lounge around in!

This is a gorgeous dress! I love Baroque patterns. It looks absolutely wonderful on you & I LOVE LOVE LOVE the lip colour! So pretty! I will definitely check the link out because that colour is just stunning. I also love how you paired it with the tights, it adds a nice level of sophistication. I am OBSESSSEDDDDD with Express’s Portofino shirts, no joke, I probably have about 30! But they are just sooo versatile & flattering and makes it soooo easy for work. :)

    Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Such a cute outfit. I love White House Black Market’s black ponte pants – they can be dressed up or casual and let’s face it, black goes with everything.
